Tabernacle of Praise’s Ministries
Outreach Ministries

Outreach Ministry – The Outreach Ministry is geared towards Jesus’ mission to the church. The main focus of this ministry is winning souls, feeding the hungry, giving the thirsty something to drink, clothing the naked, and visiting the sick and those who are incarcerated.

Events Committee Ministry – This ministry is responsible for planning all ministry events.

Nursing Home Ministry – The Nursing Home Ministry focus is on visiting those who are in nursing homes and having prayer, Bible Study, and fellowship with the elderly.

Home Care Ministry – Home Care Ministry is focused on assisting members with general housekeeping functions.

Transportation Ministry – The Transportation Ministry is responsible for picking up and dropping off people during worship services and other church related events.

Media/Broadcast Ministry – This department is responsible for putting together the church’s audio/video broadcast. The Media Ministry is responsible for all audio and video operations of the ministry. This includes camera and soundboard operations, commercial productions, video and audio broadcast and weekly announcements. This ministry is also responsible for operating the Bookstore.

Publication Ministry – This ministry is responsible for the Ministry publications, including newsletters and handouts.


Help Ministries

Help Ministry – This ministry is responsible for the maintenance and repair of the church to ensure proper upkeep of the church’s facilities.

Porter Ministry – Porters are very involved in securing the Church’s premises during services. Porters also assist in greeting and sitting people during services.

Greeters Ministry – Greeters welcome and greet all members and visitors into the sanctuary and assist in sitting people during services.

Family Ministries

Youth Ministry – This ministry is geared toward helping to guiding youth into productive and goal-oriented, and spirit-filled young men and women of God.

Children Church Ministry – The focus of this ministry is to teach and instill the Word of God into children’s heart with the purpose of winning them to Jesus Christ and then discipling them as young believers.

Women Ministry – This ministry provides a sisterhood, which motivates, educates, and encourages women to build stronger families and communities.

Men Ministry – This ministry provides a brotherhood, which motivates, educates, and encourages men to serve each other, their families, their church, and their communities.

Marriage Ministry – This ministry is geared towards strengthening and reviving the relationships of married couples.

Singles Ministry – The Singles’ Ministry is focused on helping singles live holy before the Lord.

Ministerial Ministries

Ministerial Department Ministry - This ministry consists of Ministers and Teachers who assist the Pastor in various areas of ministry. Responsibilities include serving Sunday School Teachers, altar workers, and other duties as assigned by the Pastor.

School of Ministry – Tabernacle of Praise School of Ministry makes it possible for Christian leaders and workers to fulfill their aspirations of completing their education and/or receiving educational credit for their experience and the expertise they have accumulated over years of ministry or service; and, all without leaving their community, family, job, or local church! In fact, church leaders can accomplish it all right at Tabernacle of Praise School of Ministry, under the tutelage and mentoring of local church leaders who know them and have a keen pastoral interest in their spiritual development!

Music Ministry – This ministry is responsible for ushering people into the presence of God through music and singing.

Dance Ministry – This ministry focuses on using dance to lead the people of God into praise and worship.

New Members Ministry – This ministry addresses the needs of the membership and makes sure that every member is embraced as a part of the church family. This ministry serves as a resource for new members through completion of the New Members class and works to build relationships to make a new member’s transition into the church a smooth one.

Cell Group Ministry – The Cell Group Ministry serves as an extension of the Pastor to members of the church. The focus of this ministry is to create an atmosphere of accountability to all members.

Intercessory Ministry – This ministry focus on weekly prayer for the concerns of the church, leadership, members, and the community.

TOP Health Ministry - TOP Health Ministry focus is to encourage and to inform members about healthy and active lifestyles through training seminars and workshops.
